DESCRIPTION: 
This is a 4 Kbit Serial Electrically Erasable PROM in an 8-pin DIP form factor package that can be used in breadboards or printed circuit boards. Write operations to the device can be disabled via the write-protect feature. The EEPROM is compatible with the C Stamp^TM microcomputer’s supplies and signal levels. Reading and writing from the memory is made easy with A-WIT's supplied software commands EXREAD and EXWRITE. These simple two commands interface is all that is required to communicate with the EEPROM.
