DESCRIPTION:
The CS491000 IDQ Sensor is an Infrared contrast sensor
capable of detecting dark and bright surfaces for line
following robots or other applications. Its output can be
thresholded with the GTPIND command to detect a digital
level that represents a dark or a bright surface. The output
can also be connected to one of the Analog-to-Digital
converter channels of the C StampTM to detect shades of gray
or colors after calibration. The IDQ Sensor is compatible
with the C Stamp microcomputer’s supplies and signal levels,
and has a hole for easy bolt or screw based mounting.
