DESCRIPTION:
Robotics! This Kit provides everything necessary to build a
turnkey BOL-BOTTM robotics platform. It includes the 48-Pin C
StampTM, a µC 101 BOL, PC programming cables, power supply,
and the Robotics Parts Kit. Mount the Board of LearningTM
programming board on the robot chassis to learn mechanical
control, infrared object detection, light following, and
obstacle avoidance. The Robotics Parts Kit includes
"everything below the Board of Learning". This includes the
BOL-BOT chassis, bumper switches, drive-train hardware,
wheels, standoffs, screws, etc. The BOL-BOT chassis has
mounting screw holes that may be used for customizing your
robot. The electronic components required for the Robotics
activities are also included in the Robotics Parts Kit. Lots
of fun! The activities introduce motor control and
interfacing your robot to the human world to avoid objects,
following light, and provide sound and light feedback.
All necessary software, documentation,
projects that you can use as a starting point for your own
ones, and highly illustrated instructions written by College
professors are included in the Kit CD.
The BOL-BOT is unique in the sense that users develop a
robotics platform as an embedded system using professional
software development tools and a professional programming
language in a very user friendly environment. The power and
versatility of the C Stamp guarantees that you can expand
upon your robot with your own ideas, projects, and
imagination. Well thought out and pedagogically sound

getting started in robotics with the BOL-BOT is a powerful
